visual basic, odbc, oracle 7.3

i am trying to execute a stored procedure that requires input and output parameters (variables, not literals) from a visual basic 4.0 application using intersolv's odbc driver. my database is on an oracle 7.3 database. does anyone have any small code examples? seems i can only get 'c' or 'c++' examples from odbc manuals....
