Rdb is where Oracle got all of it's good stuff from like RAC, CBO, Partitioning to name a few. It got CRS from Tru64/OpenVMS and for a very long time - would run circles around Oracle RDBMS and in some apps still does...

Actually DEC never went bankrupt - the CEO et al just sold the best parts of the company so Compaq could buy it... It was truly a sad day in Technology history. Received on Tue Mar 18 2008 - 22:26:18 CDT
