Upgrade Oracle App Server from 9i R2 to 10g R3

Hi,

Currently we are using OracleAS 9i Release 2( 9.0.2 ). We are moving to J2EE 1.4, so the Oracle AS we have to use is the 10g Release 3 which was just released in Jan 2006.

In the 10g R3 upgrade document, they only mentioned about upgrading from OracleAS 10g(9.0.4) and Oracle AS 10g R2 (10.1.2). Anyone here has the experience upgrading from 9i R2 to 10g R3? Or our only choice is to upgrade to 10g R2(10.1.2) first, then to R3(10.1.3)?
