I can tell you that Oracle Forms 6i when patched to the last release will run against an Oracle 10.1.0.4 database which is the last certified release level of the rdbms that 6i will ever run against. Note - 6i might work with 10R2 but Oracle will not certify 6i siince it is unsupported (obsolete). With a little help from Oracle support we extracted the Forms 6 server out of version 9 IAS. Metalink should have the white paper with the instructions on how to do this.

There is a conversion tool that will convert Forms into being web based that should be part of the IAS package. Our developers were working with it until project funding choices diverted their efforts elsewhere. According to the developers the tool worked but conversion was not 100%, so coding changes required.
