US-FL (Jacksonville) DBA Perm Opportunity

A multinational organization who specializes in Oracle Managed Services and
Consulting to both the private and public sectors. Companies goal is to provide quality
support and services that meet or exceed all the customer's requirements in an
efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

We are looking for outstanding Oracle Sr. DBAs to work in a stimulating technical
environment. Requires a degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Computer Engineering or other related engineering courses. Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience in Oracle database administration.

Full time - permanent opening located in Jacksonville, FL

Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
* Oracle DBA - Database backups, recoveries, patches, upgrades and
perf. tuning
* Multiple UNIX operating systems and Windows

• RAC and DataGuard
• Logical physical standby database log experience Desired experience in the following areas is a plus:
• Oracle Applications DBA - implementations, upgrades (10.7 to 11 i or 11.0 to 11i), patching, troubleshooting and tuning.
• Oracle Application Server - administration, tuning, deployment, OC4J, java, Apache and tomcat

The ideal candidate must have the ability to lead work groups and peers.
Also be a team player, have good communication and presentation skills. The position is located in Jacksonville, FL. Travel 25- 35% within Southeast US.
