| Hello,
|
| I have a simple question, that might not be so easy to answer.
|
| What is the best way to migrate a Oracle 7.34 Instance to a Oracle 9.2
|
| Oracle 7.34 is running on Window NT 4.0 and Oracle 9.2 is supposed to be
| running on Windows 2000
|
| I know of the Way 7.34.->8.06->8.1.7->9.2 Update but I am horrified even
| thinking of it.
|
| Thank you very much,
| Kind regards,
| splitted

Export/import in a new db is imho the best way in this case.

Have a look at chapter 8 "Database Migration Using Export/Import" of Migration Guide: http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96530/expimp.htm#1005557
