You dont need to setup isqlplus. Once you've installed 9i (i am using windows xp so installation part is simple), you just point your browser to http://host-name/isqlplus. The http server required for isqlplus should be installed and run as a service automatically.

Of course, you need to create the account first before you can login. If you want to use isqlplus to login as SYS, you need to create a password file for extra authentication of the HTTP link. And you will login thru http://host-name/isqlplusdba. Refer to SQL*Plus User's Guide and Reference Chap 10 for setting up the password. Received on Fri Aug 05 2005 - 06:17:14 CDT
