Your Opinion on Oracle 10g lite

Greetings,
I'm following a databse project course in my university. This project consists in the realization of a database with a dbms and a java application to access this database with jdbc(e.g. a library daabase and client to manage it). The project relies on about 100hrs of work (tipically they will be less).

My question is: do you think that using oracle 10g lite as dbms for this project will give me a valuable experience in oracle environment? I mean, in the future will it be recognized by other societies for job application?
