I agree with Rodney. Even if just getting OCP certif may not be too valuable, in my opinion, it provides a structured method of building one's skills and exposure to the Oracle database. I'm also going for OCP certification but I'm doing it for two reasons:- First is that I am interested in databases and more specifically in Oracle. I've seen many developers treating a database as just another part of the IS, and not giving it the respect it deserves, not utilizing it to the maximum. So I'm going to use my experience in resolving the same.
