There is no single "best way" to learn anything.

It depends on your current knowledge and experience, your learning style and personality, and on the educational resources available.

Having no clue who you are or anything about you, I will only suggest you consider some formal instruction first. Check out what's available at your local community college. Paying for a class can be a good motivator.
