No doubt you are correct. In our case, we had a dodgy old linux box with no X, and no oracle client. The simplest thing for us to do (this is about 3 years ago I might add) was to copy some of the binaries over and go from there. Worked well with minimal fuss. On the other hand, if you install the Oracle binaries with the newer versions of DBI/DBD, you're more likely to have an easy got at it. Received on Tue Sep 28 2004 - 09:38:50 CDT
