I agree. The point where I draw the line, others may draw it elsewhere, is when there is a for-profit organization with a business license waiting in the wings.

I have many times referred peopled to the PSOUG web site for a solution knowing there was no profit motive: Nothing to sell. Please don't pounce on me for the rare mistake if made, but I send them straight to the page that solves their specific problem, rather than to the home page, because PSOUG offers classes (to its members but still ...) and I don't want people to think there is something else going on.
