I doubt that PM knows about modifying Oracle control files. There is at least one that points to the location of the data files for the DB.

I think that the correct way to do this is to restore the drives to what they use to be, do a full export, change the drives, reinstall Oracle and import.

But definitely wait for the more knowledgeable to respond here.
