Installing Oracle 9i on Linux V9

Has anyone had any problems installing Oracle 9i on RedHat V9.9? (Both
versions are 9...Ought to work right? ;-))



    The Oracle gets as far as copying 'README' and saying that the
Java link is pending and then stops dead in it's tracks. I let it stay
there for a couple of hours and nothing.



    It installs on Redhat *.? just fine if you read the bits about
kernel changes. :-)
