I succeeded in installing on RH7.3 (asif that helps...), but not after looking at http://www.idevelopment.info/data/DBA_tips/DBATIP_54.shtml and installing the clib stubs patch.
Instead of the clib stubs patch you could *downgrade* clibs...

The clib stubs patch can only be downloaded from Oracle metalink with a support-provided-password. I found it somewhere on the web, though. COntact me privately if you don't succeed.
