hello all,

i have found that during the oracle client install, these files fail to link (build):

$ORAHOME/product/sqlplus/lib/ins_sqlplus.mk

		/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk
			    /ins.mau.mk
		/rdbms/lib/ins_rdbms.mk

and about another 10 .mk files....
i have seached the internet and found various setups and have tried a zillion bash_profiles/compat-glibc* upgrades/

i am at a loss, has anyone fought their way through this?

i even tried the typical install...which works except when it tries to link those files like above...weird.

thanks for any help!!
