Designer 6i : Transfer of ownership of objects?

We've recently migrated from a Designer 2000 v1.3.2 repository to Designer 6i release 4. I'm confused by the way D6i handles transfers of ownership of objects, such as entities. When I read the online help, it looks like I can't transfer ownership of objects below container level from one container to another. With Designer 2000 I could share/transfer or copy individual
entities between application no problem. The migrated data shows the old "hand"
symbol that represents a share, or reference as they now call them, but I can't see how to "unshare" or transfer between the containers in the newly migrated work area.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks
