Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> How do i get SQL command line? (i think it's right)
In every book, on every site when reffering to results
from a querry, the author will show those nice formatted
tables. This far i believed it was only pedagogic trick but
i've also seen a "comman line"-thingy recently.
SQL> Select * From ThisOrThat
Is that feature (to only SQL for a while) available if i have Oracle 9iAS installed (the big one with everything, about 3CD:s)?
As for now i simply write a Java code that retreives the data and
displays it to me but writing the programs (JTable mainly) is
getting pretty unfun. This is good training but somewhat overkill
if i only want to learn SQL, don't you think.
