Approach can be used as a front-end to Oracle. I have many Approach apps with Oracle as the back-end. You will be able to migrate your existing apps fairly easily. The only real stumbling blocks are memo and picture plus fields, and if you haven't used them, your pretty much home free. One other minor issue is sequence numbers, but that's easy to re-create.
