Easy perhaps, but nerve wracking because I'm trusting the software to get it right. If it screws up I'd be fundling to reinstall the backup :-)

From memory, it will identify any databases (which should be visible to the core installation) and ask you which one to convert/migrate. As per most Ora cle stuff, once complete with that database it should loop back and allow to to select another until you have converted them all.

That I would recommend. In my case the database was only populated with my normal test sets of data so, I really had little to lose if the data went south. In your case it sounds like you are dealing with a quantity of live data, which is all the more reason to make a backup and do a bit more research before diving in.
