I have been preparing for 1Z0-001:"Introduction to Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL" with the Sybex book in the 8i DBA certification series.

Now I see there is a 1ZO-007 : "Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL". This is a home-exam, so it should be less recognized than the 001 exam.

Questions:

1. How do they compare in level and coverage?
2. Can I cover 007 with whit the relevant chapters in my 001 Sybex-book?
3. What has happened/will happen with 1Z0-001 in Oracle9i? All the books
in Amazon seems to be for 8i.

I am a developer, C,C++ etc, and my main objective is to have a recognized exam for database related programming. I have no intention of becoming an Oracle DBA etc :-)

Thanks!
