Hi,
i'm using rman witdh TSM (and TDP) to backup my ORacle 817 databases on AIX433-ML09.
I'm also using the rman1.sh script to 'delete' old backups. This script contains a 'change backuppiece 'db-xxx' delete' command.

Do i also need to run a 'delete expired backup' and/or 'delete expired backupset' command to really get ride of those files from my backup tapes ?

What are these 2 commands 'deleting' ?

Regards
