ORA-03113 end-of-file error

Hi 



I have a big problem. Always I tried to start the srvmgrl I get the
following error Message:



ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel



I have Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition Relesease 3 (8.1.7.0.1) for Linux
I have RH 7.0 installed on the machine.


I applied the glibc Patch.



When I try to start oracle directly i get a core dump.



Can anybody help me?
