Warehouse Builder Connection

Hi,
I'm using Oracle Warehouse Builder and want to connect to a database as source for a warehouse. In New Modul Wizard I've tried to establish a new connection, but always I get the message "The database link is incorrect", although th creation of this link was successfully. Could anybody explain why it is so?
