Slow dataspeed in win98 to a Oracle 8 DB

Hi Group,



I have recently converted a database to Oracle 8. I use the database to
store time use in the firm where I work. The program is in Visual Basic 6.0
SP5 and uses ADO to connect to the Database.
Strangely the dataspeed in NT 4.0 works great, but in win98 it is extremely
slow.


I use the latetest ODBC-drivers, but with no effect.
Any clues to the difference and how to fix it?
