FRM-40501

Hello,

we have a old Forms-3 application but have the data on Oracle 8i. Now most things work well except a error FRM-40501 we get.

In a form if we commit a change we cannot change this record anymore without requeriing it before. If we try to change it after commit we get the FRM - 40501 error telling us that it cannot lock this record ( the message is in german so I don't know the exact english message )

Does anyone have this strange constellation and did find the solution. ( If I remember right even Oracle 7.3.4 did have the same behaviour, but i don't remember what we did set and in what configuration file )
