Your best best is to use the latest version of OO4O and the OLE object with it's associated methods (and it includes examples).

One thing to bear in mind, once you use an OLE container to stream it in as an OLE Object, it is no longer a simple image -- it is OLE structured storage and only the container that stored it can be assured of re-storing or getting it back out. Not to worry as OO4O has methods to do both in 8.1.6 version.
