Hi - just for the record here is the recommendation from Oracle.

0) Shut down all "Oracle*" services
1) Delete the Oracle key from the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE
2) Delete the ODBC key from the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC
3) Delete all keys in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services that begin with "Oracle"
4) Delete all keys in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Applicatio n
that begin with Oracle
5) In Control Panel/System, remove all references to Oracle directories in
the Path

6) Reboot
7) Delete Oracle directories
8) Delete <System drive>\Program Files\Oracle
9) Delete start menu entries for Oracle from <System
drive>\Winnt\Profiles\All Users\Start Menu\Oracle*
