When I start forms I click connect. A logon screen appears. I logon with scott/tiger.
Then: ORA-01034 Oracle not available.

Logging on with SQL-plus is OK. ORACLE NET8 Easy config also OK. All programs (forms 6/reports6/Oracle8i) are fresh installed. At installation I had a problem.
During setup I had to specify my home dir. Oracle would not accept his own default (Oracle\ora81). Choosing default stopped installation with a registry error. Uninstalling en installing again with as dir Oracle was acceptable. This deliverd a succesfull installation. Programm runs OK. But no loggin on onto database.
Someone in Oracle newsgroup suggested ODBC connection. Is this an option? slow?

Please help.

Thanks.

Roelof
