When is the hourglass displayed, trying to log into the network, logging into
the database thru the app,etc. Are you using any application server such as Winframe? After the power loss can the DBA check to see if the user is still
connected to the database with instance manager; kill it off. What is the application that runs against the database, does it have an admin componet. Is your database and network server the same? Received on Tue Oct 03 2000 - 09:41:23 CDT
