Oo4o is completely native (there is no ODBC layer involved, it interfaces
directly to OCI and sqlnet).
Also, as it is an Oracle propietary product, it supports more Oracle
specific features.
If you don't plan to use your programs with any other backend than Oracle, I
would definitely use oo4o.
