Support all aspects of DBA function - define, load, tune and backup database. Design fallover strategy. Support UNIX system, Solaris apps. REQUIRED: BS in CS or equivalent experience, 2-4 years Oracle DBA or Oracle w/ Sybase; someone who wants to learn Sybase. PLUSES: Legato or similar backup product, Sun Solaris system admin, Sybase, DB2. Oracle is a small piece of job, Sybase is antoher piece, GTX (Graham Technologies) is yet another. Will be expected to come up to speed DB2 as well. EXCELLENT opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience, looking to broaden their work experience.
