Kevin,
If the Oracle error number is to be believed (ORA-7445) this is an operating system error and should have created a core file that can be examined with adb, dbx or gdb. Has anything occurred that could cause any of the Oracle executables (sqlplus, oracle) to become corrupted? There may be memory problems as well on your server, but without seeing the debugger output for the core file I really cannot tell you what is creating this problem. Neither can Oracle, at least in the Oracle error file. The recommendation from the oerr utility is to contact Customer Support. I would try to find the core file and run it through a debugger to discover why the query terminated. Then contact Oracle support and send them the alert.log and the core file.
