Dear all,

  1. I would want to be able to use the Backup Manager and Replication Manager in the Oracle 8.i Enterprise Edition i have...but in order to use those services i need the username and password for the sysdba or sysoper user...what must i do in order to configure these users ? i have oracle 8.i running on Linux...
  2. Another question: when trying to perform an ALTER TABLE i obtain the 00600 error from SQLPLUS...does anybody know what's exactly the maning of this error?

Thanks in advance,
