Hi Helen,

I read someware that it was better to stick to 8.0.5.1 because of some problems with 8i. I used for my installation on SuSE 6.1 " Install notes for Oracle8.0.5 on RedHat5.2". I got it from the Oracle site but if you are intersted I could look up the Internet adress. Maybe it works also for 8i.
