SEP Memory

I'm studying for the Performance Tuning exam of the DBA Certification, and I
have a question.  I am using the sample exam which I purchased, and in the
tuning sort section there are several references to "SEP" memory.  I have
not been able to find any reference to this type of memory in any
documentation which I have.  Does anyone know what this is?
