ORB is not responding

I've installed Oracle Application Server 4.0.6 on WinNT 4.0 SP5. When I try to start the processes it says: 'ORB is not responding. Please restart manually.' Where can I start it, it doesn't show in the services. Also when I start up Windows, I get the following error message : MSDTC.EXE

The ordinal 435 could not be located in the dynamic link library core40.dll
Could this be anything to do with my OAS problem? I've tried to install version 4.0.7 but it gives errors during the install process.
I've seen tht there is also a version 4.0.8 but it doesn't seem to be on technet.
Where can I find this?
