V8.x ODBC troubles

Hi,

We got a lot of troubles using the Oracle ODBC V8.x drivers. Currently we use version 8.01.54.
The most trouble making errors are ODBC call returning an error (RETCODE = -1) without giving any associated error information. Checking the Oraodbc.log file reveals an ... bcoDbcServerError followed by an ... bcdServerError.
The statement (can be anything, from a "complex" SQLPrepare to a simple SQLPrimairyKeys) are correct and work fine using an Oracle ODBC V7.x driver...

Can anyone tell us how to work-around these troubles?
