As far as I know so far, this is _not_ the case. Depending on your application and database schema, 64bit just creates more overhead (well, 64bit are more than 32bit, aren't they?). 64bit for example allows you to create a larger SGA, which might then increase performance. I would recommend that you have a look on HP's 64bit information and migration documents, there should be quite a lot somewhere on there web site. There you should find exactly the information you search.
