differences between 8.0.5 and 8.1.5.

Hi,
Does somebody know the differences between both product ? I want to install Oracle on a Linux enable computer ( slackware distribution) and I saw that a 3.9 would be needed for 8.0.5 and than a 4.0 would be needed for 8.1.5. I saw that the 8.0.5 seems to needs less memory than the 8.1.5.

But what else ?

We need to run Webdb, Report and Discover.
