Tlist manipulation in Developer2000

Hello

Developer2000 (Version:5.0.6.8)

I am facing problems in deleting elements from a TList that is dynamically populated from the database. e.g. The fuction "delete_list_element(list_id,index#)" returns the error FRM-41045, Cannot find item, Invalid ID

The same error is repeated for almost all the list related functions. I am totally lost as to where the problem might be. PLs help.
