I am currently having a problem with my IBM ThinkPad 600's, I have installed oracle 8 client and have configured and tested the connection. Then I installed the latest version of the Borland Database Engine and when I try to connect using Goldmine I get the following error:

Cannot load an IDAPI service library.

Context: openDatabase
ORACLE: ORACLE1:SPFILES

  1. Alias: ORACLE1
  2. File: SQLORA8.DLL

BDE Error Cat:Code: [33:10]
BDE: 500 [9/6/1998] GoldMine: 4.00.9303
