BIND_ARRAY: How does it handle commits?

Hello

I am thinking about using the BIND_ARRAY function to perform bulk updates/inserts, but am unable to find any documentation about when/how it handles the commit statements. Does anyone out there know if the function will perform one commit when the update/insert statement has been perform on the entire index table? Or is it an incremental process? Can you control it? I don't want the statement to possibly get too large for my rollback buffer. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Mark
