Should I or shouldn't I?

Hello group

I have been offered the choice between a trainig as a COBOL programmer and training as a ORACLE specialist.
My experience in IT is not that big that I feel I can make a decision easily. Of course C is a lot easier and O has more oppertunities. Somehow I am uncertain of my learning skills and hesitate to choose for Oracle. Not that I am stupid but it is a hard job. Could anyone tell me their experiences in this? It would help me to make up my mind.
