Oracle upgrade

Hi,

I have developed a s/w package in Oracle server 8.0.4 rel. My client has already licensed Oracle 7.3.4. My problem is, my client is going for Oracle server 8.0.4 upgrade for Oracle 7.3.4.
The Oracle 7.3.4 Software as such is untouched and is not installed at all. So when I proceed with the Installation of Oracle 8.0.4 Do I have to Install Oracle 7.3.4 and proceed with the installation of Oracle 8.0.4.
I do not have any access to Oracle docs for 8.0.4 neither I have any access to Licensing terms.
Anybody who has gone through such experience could please share their views with me.
