Hello!

I'm writing an application in VB5 that works towards an Oracle 7.3.3 or Oracle 8 database. I want the user to see how long he has to wait after he has started a search. Is it possible to retrieve that from Oracle how long the query takes?. I also want the user to be able to Cancel a search, so he doesn't have to wait very long. I see SQL*Plus has that option, is it possible to implement that for me? I use the Oracle Objects for OLE automation version 2.3

Thanks.
