Oracle Applications unable to update custom tables.

I am presently modifying the Oracle Applications OE Cancellation
(OEXMCEO) screen for a customer. The problem is: it will not update the
custom tables we created. It will update _all_ the original tables, but not any new ones. These very same custom tables can be updated through a custom form called from the Cancellation screen. But if I use the custom form and *post* the data, and travel back to the cancellation screen, it
(once again) fails to commit them.

Someone suggested that we did not properly register our custom tables. So we tried this, and it did not fix the problem.

We are using Oracle Applications 10.7. Oracle Form 4.5 16 bit.

Any suggestions, help, hints, clues, etc... greatly appreciated.
