Hello again,

In fact, it seems that two values causes this fault to happen :

One million : 1,000,000.00 which causes an overflow that you can check by converting the number valus to char, as follows

SELECT TO_CHAR(MY_SILLY_COL) FROM MYTABLE, then you get the CHAR value ':00000'

The other value is 10,000,000,000.00, which converted to char gives ':000000000'

BTW, the Borland's tip about the MSVCRT.DLL doesn't work for me - my problems remains the same.

It seems to be a bug in certain versions of SQL*Net 2.3.2 is OK, 2.3.3 if buggous.

    Regards, Christophe Lauer.
