OCI and PL\SQL: Binding an input record as a parameter for a stored procedure

Does anyone know how to bind a record as an input parameter for a stored procedure?

I've tried using both OCIBindByName and Obndrv, version 7 of OCI to either bind the record as a struct or a collection of columns, and neither works.
