Saville Systems (www.savillesys.com) develops a convergent billing systems for Telecommunciation organizations.

We have an immediate need for:
2 Senior Oracle DBAs (1 position Permanent, 1 position 6 - 8 months Contract)
Both positions are located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and begin immediately. Saville has an agressive compensation plan and excellent benefits.

As the Senior DBA (5+ years experience), your leadership and ability to handle high levels of responsibility are matched by your Oracle DBA skills.

Responsibilities include:

*Independently performs database design, data modeling according to
physical or functional specifications & implement structure changes.

• Conducts analysis and provides recommendations on new releases. Plans execution of the new database designs and determines the physical data and data structure changes necessary to implement new functionality.
• Provides leadership and guidance to team and deals with escalated issues and problems.
• May perform and support database installation / upgrades & create documentation.
• Analyzes and recommends proper sizing and configuration for client databases based on volumes and growth forecasts.
  *Planning, travel and participation in design meetings, installations,
  upgrades and research sessions
  *Interfaces with the customer/end user, including efficient response in
  trouble shooting and problem solving of performance and database problems.

Skills List:

• Project management skills and team leadership skills.
• 5+ years experience with Oracle
• UNIX (HP)
